Senior Director of Corporate Relations

Morehouse College

Onsite Atlanta, Georgia

For more than 150 years, Morehouse College has shaped generations of leaders whose influence reaches across every sector of society. The College is a global symbol of Black male excellence, distinguished by a legacy of scholarship, service, and social impact. From historic changemakers like Martin Luther King Jr. to influential contemporary voices in business, politics, the arts, and science, Morehouse has cultivated a tradition of leadership that continues to evolve with purpose. Today, the College remains a vital force in higher education, rooted in its mission to prepare men to lead lives of consequence.

Situated on a 66-acre campus in Atlanta, Morehouse is home to more than 2,200 students who come from around the world to join a community grounded in intellectual rigor, ethical leadership, and global engagement. As the College advances its ambitious $500 million campaign, Making Men of Consequence, it is investing in the people, programs, and infrastructure that will shape its future for decades to come. Morehouse’s commitment to affordability, academic excellence, and transformative education fuels a dynamic environment that attracts partners who share the College’s vision for impact on a global scale.

The Opportunity

The Senior Director of Corporate Relations is a pivotal leadership role at an important moment for Morehouse College. Reporting to the Vice President for Institutional Advancement and Chief Development Officer, the Senior Director will design and execute a strategy to expand the College’s corporate giving pipeline in alignment with the priorities of Making Men of Consequence: The Campaign for Morehouse College.

With the campaign already more than halfway to its historic $500 million goal, the Senior Director will be empowered to build partnerships that accelerate access, modernize campus infrastructure, strengthen centers of excellence, and invest in research and teaching at the highest levels.

Managing a portfolio of high-capacity corporate prospects, the Senior Director will cultivate, solicit, and steward major and principal-level gifts. The role requires exceptional strategic acumen, comfort managing complex and multi-stakeholder initiatives, and fluency in both philanthropic and corporate sponsorship strategy. Collaboration will be central to success: the Senior Director will work closely with Advancement leadership, faculty leaders, and institutional stakeholders to identify opportunities that align corporate interests with Morehouse’s mission and momentum.

For a seasoned relationship-builder who thrives in a mission-driven environment, this position offers the chance to fuel transformative investment in an institution that continues to shape the future of global leadership.
