Serving over 17,000 patients a year, Emory’s Winship Cancer Institute is Georgia’s only NCI-designated comprehensive cancer center. It is part of Emory’s Woodruff Health Sciences Center, Emory Healthcare, and Emory University and serves as the coordinating center for cancer research, education, and care throughout the University. Winship is a national leader in seeking out new ways to defeat cancer and in translating that knowledge into patient care.
The Opportunity
The Executive Director of Development for Winship Cancer Institute will provide strategic vision and direction to all aspects of engagement and fundraising activities for Winship Cancer Center, including the Winship Advisory Board and all fundraising events, while leading and motivating a team of fundraising and events staff. S/He will build and advance relationships with grateful patients, grateful patient families, alumni, non-alumni, corporations, and foundations that result in principal gifts in support of the faculty, programs, and facilities that make up Winship’s multidisciplinary cancer disease programs.
