The Opportunity
The Vice President of Advancement (VP) will serve as an innovative and mission-driven leader to sustainably grow the organization’s fundraising through multiple channels. S/He will report to the Executive Vice President of External Affairs and will work closely with the EVP, Chief Executive Officer, executive team, and Board of Directors to advance Ascentria’s goals and to foster a culture of philanthropy across the organization. The VP will be responsible for leading, developing, and implementing a strategic and comprehensive advancement plan that includes robust foundation and corporate management, major gifts, direct marketing, planned giving, and volunteer programs. The ideal candidate is an experienced builder, mentor, and manager with a mission-driven perspective and experience in independent giving and pipeline building.
