The Opportunity
Reporting to the Associate Vice President for Development, the Executive Director of Development (EDOD) will be responsible for leading and managing a staff of high-performing professionals on the front line in a campaign atmosphere. As a leadership member of the fundraising management team, the EDOD will oversee a fundraising program primarily for existing and emerging donors to the university, with an emphasis on pledges/gifts exceeding $1,000,000 for both current use and endowment. The ideal candidate has eight years of successful front-line major or principal gift fundraising experience; fundraising program management in higher education, healthcare, or science institutions; and has Certified Fund-Raising Executive designation.
