To achieve that goal, President Thomas LeBlanc and Vice President of Development and Alumni Relations Donna Arbide are expanding the Department of Development and Alumni Relations by hiring a select group of innovative, entrepreneurial, and intrepid development leaders to head major initiatives throughout the University.
The George Washington University Law School has been at the forefront of American legal education since its establishment as the first law school in the nation’s capital. That tradition continues today, as GW Law graduates continue to influence the critical legal conversations of our times.
The Opportunity
The Assistant Vice President, Development, for GW Law will manage the School’s development and alumni relations program. This entrepreneurial, innovative, and dynamic AVP will lead a comprehensive program based on his/her knowledge of the latest strategies and trends in philanthropy. Reporting directly to the Senior Associate Vice President, with a dotted reporting line to the Dean of the Law School, s/he will also maintain a portfolio of approximately 20 high profile donor prospects, including setting a personal fundraising goal that is aspirational, yet achievable.
