The Opportunity
Reporting to the Dean of the GSD and working in close liaison with the University Development Office, the Associate Dean for Development and Alumni Relations serves as the School’s principal strategist for all aspects of external relations. The Associate Dean is responsible for advancing the mission of the GSD through strategic planning and leadership in the formation and execution of a comprehensive fundraising strategy. A member of the School’s senior leadership team, the Associate Dean will build strong relationships with the School’s stakeholders and donors and develops, prioritizes and implements fundraising and alumni relations strategies. S/He will work within a collaborative environment of faculty and staff, including key partnerships with the Senior Associate Dean, the Finance Dean, the Director of Development and the Director of Alumni Relations & Annual Giving.
