The Opportunity
Ploughshares seeks a Director of Development to lead its fundraising enterprise and advance its mission to build a world where nuclear weapons no longer endanger humanity.
Reporting to the Executive Director and working closely with the President, this leader will design and implement a comprehensive development strategy that expands impact, grows a sophisticated donor base, and inspires new forms of philanthropic engagement. The Director will mentor a talented team and partner with leadership and the Board to cultivate meaningful, long-term donor relationships.

The ideal candidate brings strategic thinking, fundraising expertise, and emotional intelligence to strengthen Ploughshares’ development capacity and sustain its global impact.
The salary range for this position is $150,000 – $175,000.
