The Opportunity
The next President will lead one of the nation’s most respected nonprofit organizations at the intersection of education, accessibility, technology, manufacturing, and public service.
Reporting to an engaged Board of Trustees, the President will provide strategic vision and executive leadership for an organization of more than 330 employees while overseeing national programs, innovative product development, manufacturing operations, digital transformation, strategic partnerships, and financial stewardship. This leader will guide APH through an exciting period defined by organizational growth, technological advancement, expanded public engagement, and increasing opportunities to diversify revenue while strengthening the organization’s historic federal partnership.
Beyond operational leadership, this role offers the opportunity to influence the future of accessibility on a national and international scale. The President will serve as APH’s chief ambassador, building relationships across government, philanthropy, education, business, and the blindness and low vision community while advancing a compelling vision for innovation and inclusion.

The salary range for this position is $440,000 to $480,000.
