The Opportunity
The Assistant Vice President, Global Advancement serves as an integral member of the ASU Foundation senior leadership team. This role brings clarity, coordination, and momentum to efforts around the world that advance complex and high-value philanthropic relationships on behalf of the ASU Foundation and Arizona State University.
Reporting to the Chief Global Advancement Officer (CGAO), the AVP oversees a large, complex portfolio of regional and global teams, develops growth strategies, and serves as a central resource across the Global Advancement portfolio. They represent the CGAO, Global Advancement, and the ASU Foundation both internally and externally with key funders and partners; and helps translate institutional priorities into coordinated global action, ensuring teams are supported and positioned to succeed in their respective markets.
The AVP will shape and execute strategies for engaging key domestic and international stakeholders in close partnership with ASU Foundation leadership, university officers, and academic units. The role serves as a close partner to Global Corporate Advancement and the Global Futures Laboratory team members, strengthening collaboration and advancing shared priorities across the institution.
