The Opportunity
The Vice President for Development (VPD) is an outstanding opportunity for a seasoned manager and accomplished advancement professional to lead and inspire a high-performing and experienced team as Boston College enters a new phase of fundraising growth and prepares for its next campaign.
As the primary thought partner to the SVP, the VPD will implement annual organizational and longer-term fundraising growth strategies and create a sustainable model for the future. The VPD will lead office-wide development goal setting, organizational assessment, continuous improvement processes, and talent management for the fundraising organization. The successful candidate will be an excellent communicator with superb judgement who is drawn to the academic and societal mission of Boston College.
