Celebrity Series believes in the power of excellence and innovation in the performing arts to enrich life experience, transform lives, and build better communities. Its audiences experience the world’s great orchestras, chamber ensembles and soloists, and leading artists in contemporary dance, jazz, world and folk music, and spoken word. Celebrity Series presents over seventy mainstage performances in eight to ten different venues and over 150 community engagement activities annually.
The Opportunity
The Chief Advancement Officer (CAO) provides leadership, strategic direction, and overall management for the daily operations of the Celebrity Series fundraising efforts. Reporting to the President and Executive Director, the CAO is responsible for all activities that identify, secure, nurture, and engage the individual, corporate, and institutional donors. The ideal candidate has a passion for the performing arts and is an accomplished, metrics-driven leader who has experience building sustainable, high-performing development programs, with a demonstrated history of developing successful relationships with high-net-worth individuals and institutional leadership.
