The Opportunity
Lawrence University seeks an accomplished and inspiring Vice President for Advancement to lead a comprehensive advancement program and serve as the institution’s chief development officer.
This senior executive will join a visionary leadership team and report directly to President Laurie A. Carter, playing a central role in galvanizing philanthropic support to advance the University’s mission and strategic priorities. The Vice President will oversee all fundraising and alumni engagement efforts, manage a high-performing team, and engage with the Board of Trustees, alumni, parents, and friends.
The successful candidate will bring deep fundraising expertise, exceptional leadership skills, and a collaborative, equity-focused mindset. They will design and implement bold, data-informed strategies that elevate donor engagement, deepen community partnerships, and expand the University’s philanthropic reach.
