Through its $250 million comprehensive campaign, A Scientific Revolution, Texas Biomed plans to double its scientists and resources in the coming decade positioning it to be the world leader in infectious disease.
The Opportunity
Reporting to a visionary and highly supportive fundraising president and CEO and serving as a member of the senior leadership team, the Vice President of Development (VP) will set the long-term direction and strategy for Texas Biomed’s development program and team. Joining at the start of Texas Biomed’s ambitious comprehensive campaign, the VP will bring professional expertise and best practices to the organization as well as an entrepreneurial approach to fundraising. S/He will develop new fundraising strategies to grow the donor base within the San Antonio community, and across the state and nationally, while continuing to advance existing prospect and donor relationships. The successful candidate will be a highly motivated, intellectually curious, broad thinker with a proven track record in securing major and principal gifts in a health sciences and/or academic environment.
