Dartmouth College

Hybrid Hanover, New Hampshire

The Audrey and Theodor Geisel School of Medicine at Dartmouth, founded in 1797, is one of the nation’s oldest medical schools and an enduring leader in medical innovation and research. Rooted in its mission to address global health challenges through discovery and education, Geisel is committed to developing leaders in medicine, science, and healthcare delivery who improve lives both locally and globally. With strengths in genetics, population health, cancer research, and healthcare delivery science, Geisel faculty lead the way in medical advancement, including Nobel Prize-winning work in genetics.

Geisel fosters a deep sense of community and collaboration that extends across Dartmouth College and Dartmouth Health. The School is particularly distinguished by its commitment to interdisciplinary scholarship, experiential learning, and strong mentorship. These values create a powerful foundation for nurturing physicians and scientists who are prepared to tackle today’s most complex health issues with creativity, compassion, and rigor.

The Opportunity

At a pivotal moment for the School’s philanthropic growth, Dartmouth Health and Geisel are seeking an Executive Director of Development.

With a deep and broad donor pipeline, a robust research and alumni infrastructure, and a new cross-functional communications and marketing team, Geisel is primed for its next phase of philanthropic leadership.

The Executive Director will have the opportunity to lead a major-gifts-focused team and personally manage a portfolio of high-level prospects to advance major initiatives in medical education and research.

This is an exceptional chance for a senior fundraising professional to play a critical leadership role in shaping the future of one of the nation’s most innovative and interdisciplinary medical schools.
