The Opportunity
Rice University seeks a Director of Strategic Initiatives to advance its visionary goals.
Embedded within the Principal Gifts team, this role is a linchpin for the University’s most ambitious fundraising efforts. Collaborating with deans, faculty, and senior leadership, the Director will spearhead strategies to secure high-level philanthropic investments while supporting cutting-edge research and academic excellence.
This position offers a unique chance to work at the intersection of development, strategy, and impact. The Director will shape complex proposals, identify and convene high-potential donor partnerships, and ensure seamless coordination across the University’s diverse academic and research programs.
