The Scleroderma Foundation is a national nonprofit organization serving the needs and interests of those living with scleroderma, also known as systemic sclerosis. It has a three-fold mission to provide peer support, advance education, and awareness of the disease among multiple stakeholders and the public, and fund research to find the cause, better therapies, and a cure. Headquartered in Danvers, Massachusetts (metro Boston area), the Foundation has a national network of 19 chapters and 160 support groups.
The Opportunity
The Chief Executive Officer (CEO) is the key management leader of the Scleroderma Foundation and will be essential in developing resources sufficient to ensure the financial health of the Foundation. Working with the National Board of Directors to fulfill the Foundation’s mission, the CEO is responsible for overseeing the administration, programs, and strategic plan of the Foundation. Seeking an experienced nonprofit professional with fluency in healthcare and science, other key duties include fundraising, marketing, and outreach to Foundation stakeholders throughout the United States and internationally.
