Cooperative Economic Empowerment Movement

Ontario, California

CEEM leads and supports community-transforming initiatives that result in greater economic advancement opportunities for African Americans. Collaborating with a national network of partners, CEEM connects African Americans to valuable resources offered by African American organizations operating in three main focus areas: economic development, health and wellness, and education. Parity is the organization’s guiding principle. As it harnesses the potential of bridging the space between people and institutions, CEEM creates access to knowledge, wealth, and power, thereby driving parity in everything.

The Opportunity

CEEM seeks a Chief Executive Officer who will provide strategic, financial, and operational leadership while inspiring a core team and regional chapters to elevate the organization’s mission. The CEO is responsible for developing an ever-evolving expansion strategy, supporting members with necessary tools and resources, and serving as a liaison across CEEM’s collective engine and nonprofit. As the face of the organization, the CEO will build and maintain significant relationships internally and externally, in addition to overseeing brand and marketing strategy.

To successfully identify, pursue, and leverage opportunities for this transformational organization, the CEO will be a charismatic leader, an outstanding problem-solver, and a flexible, strategic planner. This is a signature career opportunity and a chance to apply your leadership skills to the economic advancement of African Americans across the country.

The salary range for this position is $150,000–$200,000.
