The Opportunity
The inaugural Chief Revenue Officer represents a defining leadership opportunity within a rapidly growing organization. This role will build and lead the organization’s earned revenue strategy, transforming strong market demand into sustainable growth, long-term partnerships, and expanded student impact.
Reporting directly to the Founder and CEO, the Chief Revenue Officer will shape the organization’s go-to-market approach, establish scalable sales infrastructure, and position Basta for continued national growth across higher education, nonprofit, and workforce development sectors.
This leader will oversee the full revenue lifecycle, including business development, institutional partnerships, pipeline strategy, renewals, account management, and expansion efforts. Managing a team of sales and partnership professionals, the Chief Revenue Officer will develop systems, processes, forecasting models, and performance metrics that enable disciplined growth while strengthening relationships with universities, employers, and ecosystem partners. The successful candidate will bring experience building sales organizations from the ground up and navigating complex stakeholder environments where mission and revenue are equally important.
As Basta works toward increasing annual recurring revenue and expanding its national footprint, the Chief Revenue Officer will serve as a key shaper of the organization’s future.
The salary range for this position is $200,000–$220,000.
