The Opportunity
The Chief Development Officer joins Girls Preparatory School at one of the most exciting moments in the institution’s history.
Reporting directly to the Head of School and serving on the Senior Leadership Team, this executive will shape the future of philanthropy for one of the South’s premier independent schools for girls. With the School preparing for its most ambitious comprehensive campaign to date, the Chief Development Officer will have the opportunity to build lasting relationships with alumnae, families, trustees, and friends while positioning GPS for sustained philanthropic growth.
This role combines high-level strategy with meaningful frontline fundraising. The Chief Development Officer will personally cultivate and solicit transformational gifts, advise school leadership and the Board on campaign strategy, strengthen a culture of philanthropy across the community, and lead a talented advancement team committed to excellence.
