Through regional and national programs, events, and missions to Israel, AFHU connects American donors to the innovative work being done at the Hebrew University, ensuring its continued impact on global scholarship and discovery. With an endowment of nearly $800 million and annual fundraising of $65–$75 million, AFHU’s philanthropic efforts provide more than half of the University’s annual external funding.
The Opportunity
As part of its ongoing investment in development and strategic growth, AFHU seeks an inaugural Director of Prospect Management and Research to build and optimize a comprehensive prospect research and donor pipeline strategy.
To ensure sustainable philanthropic investment in the Hebrew University’s mission, the Director will develop systems and tools that enhance AFHU’s ability to engage high-potential donors and refine prospect strategies. Reporting to the Chief Strategy Officer, this leader will work closely with the Chief Development Officer and fundraising teams across AFHU’s regional and national offices.
This newly-created role presents a unique opportunity for a data-driven and strategic professional to elevate AFHU’s fundraising efforts through robust research, analytics, and portfolio management.
The salary range for this position is $120,000 – $135,000.
