The Opportunity
Over the past 200 years, Colgate has continued to ascend, thanks to the support of alumni, parents, and friends. It has developed a Third-Century Plan with projects and programs that will further enhance its reach and reputation and is in the planning stages of a comprehensive campaign to support the Plan. Reporting to the Vice President, as a member of the advancement leadership team, the AVP will partner effectively on all aspects of campaign-related activity and serve as a primary liaison to campaign volunteers and provide support for their activities. The AVP will be responsible for supervising the major gifts staff, developing, and maintaining relationships with major gift constituents as assigned to increase levels of engagement, annual giving, and campaign support utilizing effective prospect qualification, cultivation, and solicitation strategies.
