Seoul Foreign School
Established in 1912, the Seoul Foreign School (SFS) has a long-standing reputation as one of the leading international schools in Asia. Its current student body totals over 1400 children from over 50 different countries, ranging from pre-K through 12th grade, with 350 faculty and staff members from around the world. SFS is a Christian school for everyone, emphasizing Christ-like morals and kindness to guide its faculty members and students.
SFS is located in a highly desirable location in the heart of modern South Korea. Its 25-acre park-like setting is within the Yeonhui-dong neighborhood in Seoul’s Seodaemun-gu district, considered to be a “human-centered district full of hope.” The School is a member of the Western Association of Schools and Colleges (WASC) as well as the Council of International Schools (CIS) and the Association of Christian Schools International (ACSI). It is accredited by the UK’s Office for Standards in Education and is an IB (International Baccalaureate) approved school.
The Opportunity
Poised to build on its legacy of excellence, the Seoul Foreign School is seeking its next Director of Alumni Relations. Working on an overall team of seven, the Director will be responsible for establishing all strategy for alumni programming and engagement. S/He will engage SFS’s students and network of 4,700 alumni throughout their entire life cycle and build a culture of philanthropy across this worldwide community. The Director will be a people person, possessing the skills of a sophisticated diplomat well-able to maneuver in a global environment.
